Abstract Guidelines
Submission Instructions :
  1. All abstracts must be submitted through the official website: https://nmud.in
  2. The file Name of Your Abstract Should be: NMUD2025_YourName
  3. Submitting an abstract DOES NOT register you for the NMUD 2025
  4. The abstract presenter must register for the conference. Please visit the Registration page to register.
  5. We will have a separate section for the case presentations, and they will only be considered for Oral / Mini Oral Presentation. There will be no subsections sub-speciality-wise for the case presentations.
  6. As the official language for the conference is English, the abstracts must be submitted in English only.
  7. The abstract should not be more than 350 words, which should be typed in the box provided in the abstract submission form.
  8. All abstracts should be in the Specific format (Font - Calibri Body, Font size- 11 Word limit - 350 words)
  9. Abstracts of the Original data (Not case presentations) have to be attributed to one of the following subheadings. The choice of the subheading shall be with the authors. The awards are categorised based on each subheading separately

    • Cardiology
    • Nephrology
    • Oncology
    • Neurology
    • Haematology
    • Endocrinology
    • Rheumatology
    • Respiratory Medicine
    • Gastroenterology
    • Geriatric Medicine

  10. The format of the abstract submission for the original data should be structured based on the IMRAD format with a brief outline of salient features as follows:
  11. Title: The title of the abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS with the exception of scientific names, which should be in upper and lower-case forms and italicized
  12. Introduction: Give a brief introduction and explain the aims and objectives of the study.
  13. Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted
  14. Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics
  15. Discussion including conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the result
  16. The format for case reports should be as follows
    • Background
    • Case-presentation
    • Investigations
    • Treatment and Follow up
    • Discussion
    • Take home Messages
  17. Authors will not be allowed to submit any illustration (table/ graph /clinical, radiological, microscopic image etc.) with their abstract.
  18. Once the abstract is submitted, NO REVISIONS/ EDITING will be allowed.
  19. Abstracts not limiting to word limits will be rejected
  20. The abstracts sent in the mail will not be accepted for review
  21. Notification regarding acceptance of the submission and the guidelines for the Oral / Mini Oral Presentation will be sent to the author in the email provided while submitting the abstract.
  22. One presenting author can submit multiple abstracts.
  23. The best 06 abstracts (overall across subspecialties) will be presented as Oral Papers. The rest of the accepted abstracts will be displayed as e-posters.
  24. Exciting prizes for winners of Oral / Mini Oral Presentation to be announced on the last day of the conference.
  25. The presenters will also get a Certificate of Presentation.
  26. If the presenter wishes to withdraw the abstract, he/ she can do so by sending a request in writing to
